Studio membership blips? [Subs are being cancelled]

Morning everyone! It’s another day in the wild wild west of the internet indie side~

I’m stopping my current tidying frenzy (Feef is coming over soon to sew a convention cloak with me) to make a quick open post about what I think is CCBill’s wordpress plugin having some sort of hiccup.

Have you had your membership cancelled out of the blue?

Yeah that wasn’t me! I can now see that I’ve had around 10 people’s studio memberships cancelled over the last few days, seemingly chosen at random. I’ve noticed that one of you re-signed up almost immediately, thank you and I’m so sorry for the trouble!

I’ve sent a support email to CCBill 10 days ago when this first happened and I still haven’t had a reply from them at all, so I may need to send another one.

Sigh

I’m trying not to launch into a tired rant here, but all you need to know is that this is happening while I’m doing my regular scheduled PCI compliance with Elavon too, and prepping for my convention which is this weekend.

I’ve had questions on Mastodon about my website and studio payment processing setup, and maybe I’ll do a proper post about that at some point, but I really need things to just calm the fuck down so I can get my actual work done – Y’know, making art and comic books. Hahahah- Ohhh dear I can feel the rant BUBBLING under the surface, but I don’t have time! I gotta go finish tidying up and having a shower before Feef arrives so I don’t stink of Stressed Artist Forced To Live In A Capitalist Hellscape.
