Elavon Gateway Updating [Fixing some bugs]

Elavon Gateway Updating [Fixing some bugs]

[DanDan doing gods work with the scoobydoo meme yet again]

Morning everyone!

This is a quick admin post to you all so you know what’s up:

My Elavon payment gateway is currently being updated. Normally this is something that happens behind the scenes naturally with all my other wordpress website tinkering so I don’t need to tell you, but after the whole PHP shenanigan that happened on the internet, I’m being instructed to update my plugin manually, which requires the help of my hosting provider. Sorry this is all very boring dry talk, but a cornerstone of me being able to do my job.

In essence what this means is that:

— My Elavon is currently Offline and unable to take on new studio members (existing members have no issues, don’t worry!)

— I’m having to wear my tech-support hat and talk to Krystal (my host) to sort this ASAP, so all other work has to take a backseat, that includes my continuing order-packing and posting. I’m really sorry. 🙁

— While going through my Elavon I found out a couple of Pre-Orders for the art-book bounced. I’ll have to reach out to you once the gateway has been fixed.

So… Yeah, that’s my day today. Very much feeling the Born to Jest, Force to Joust meme.

I want to draw Jenitales, paint commissions and get on with the Farmor Stina project (there’s SO much going on with that – when I update my kickstarter backers on it they’ll hopefully understand why I’ve been quiet. I’m being told about culture grants).

Just got off a videocall with my parents in Sweden, talking about the postal situation. You know it’s bad when they’re telling me to not send Christmas gifts this year. They’ve never said that before. 🙁

Anyway, enough whining – time to go deal with support tickets! I’ll let you all know when Elavon is up and running again!

Yeeehaww~ Doing a business on the internet as a sole-trader sure is wild, partner~

[PS: I’m actually considering my options when it comes to future postage/packaging help, be it by using proxies or by hiring someone on some kind of hours-contract. This is a huge step for someone who’s as much of a control-freak as I am, but posting is taking up so much of my time now that it’s negatively impacting my comic/art work. And we can’t have that!]
