Glitter Stickers from the Gutter! Launching this Thursday!

Ohhh boiiii – here we gooo

It’s a simple print-cost Kickstarter, but it’s not comics. What the heck.

I’m officially dipping my toes into Stickers!

As you can see from that preview screenshot, this is a short 12 day Kickstarter that I’m planning to launch this Thursday at 12noon UK time! And unless I’m forgetting something, I think this is the first Kickstarter launch that will be multicast – Twitch AND Owncast!

It’s a very simple launch where I’ll press a button and have a chat with people for a bit – I’m way way too busy to do any ~shenanigans~, sorry!

The Kickstarter itself is also very simple! Here are the reward tiers I’ll be offering:

That’s it! … Unless this turns out to be popular of course. We have a bunch of other sticker ideas that could make for good stretch goals. But let’s cross that glitter bridge when/if we get to it!

It feels very silly to have to do this censoring of chibi catgirls to appease the processor, but here’s a better look at the art for the stickers (the actual stickers will obviously not be censored):

I didn’t feel like I could openly talk about what kind of art markets I’m going to this year on the Kickstarter page – just in case it gets flagged like my Devour Me zine did. But in short:

I’ll be at HEX in Leeds again! 3 TIMES this year!

22nd of March (see why I need these stickers done quick?), 15th of August, and the 21st of November.

AND, I have been accepted into Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar on the 11th of April!

I’ll be making a dedicated post about these art markets and my feelings on them before and after. It does feel like a bit of a shift in direction for my work – which I very much love – but it’s also very scary because if I don’t make any real money in these kinds of markets, I can’t continue with them. Guess we’ll have to see!

I’m also quietly aware that I’ve run out of stock for Artemisia again and I can’t afford to reprint it. So that’s in the back of my mind. Along with the email from Visa and Mastercard, coming to collect their annual fee.

Aaaand this is why Husbeard is currently ordering me a burrito. Me: “You treating me because I’m stressed?” Him: “Well obviously. You want extra guacamole?”
