Straddling the line between the nefarious and the naughty, this diabolical artwork is my small love letter to Tentacles, Orcs, Vampires and other Beasts. The art itself is pretty much all complete and I have sourced a local printer who is happy to transform them into a real physical book that’s as much “pinhead” as it is “pin-up”. All that’s needed are the funds to get it moving.

This pre-order page is to get the funds for a small print-run of around 100-150 zine-copies.

Great! — HOLD UP.

This zine will contain artistic depictions of spicy-times with fantasy monsters of various… configurations. Ranging from all your favourite classically seductive fiends to some more unexpected behemoths, be warned that the art leans a little way over to the darker horror side. And, to probe the most disgraceful depths of fantasy, I have even been forced by my community to draw the most filthy thing of all: Kissing. So yes. There will be some art with… Kissing (yuck). But they never said I couldn’t add my own spice onto it.

Everything is made by hand by yours truly. Most of the art is done in ink wash, but sometimes I can’t help myself and there may be collage elements or splashes of other spot colours in there. Whatever the Beasts require!

The zine itself:

A5 in size
Currently at 16 pages cover-to-cover, but I may get carried away
Printed locally using recycled materials
Stock picked up, packaged and posted by me

Timeline:

This is being made for my upcoming tabling at HEX’s sex-positive market in Leeds, UK on the 22nd of November! I have already sourced a local printer that can get it done and I’ll be handling the stock myself – so if we get funded it’d be a quick fulfillment process. Oh, and if you’d like to pick your copy up in person, I’d love to see you!

The future?

This is me carefully dipping my toe into the Art Book side of things. I’ve made comics for over a decade now and people have been sporadically asking me whether I’ll ever make an art book. I would love to! But the truth is: I don’t know if people would be interested. I feel more confident in selling my comics to you – they have a story that I can latch onto. But an art book? That’s just my art, standing on its own. You want that?

Consider this small A5 zine to be my test. I love making this stuff – yes I even draw it for fun – Imagine that!
